We are an award-winning architectural practice with a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Our collaborative firm operates in an open studio setting where growth, exposure to various projects, and hands-on experience are encouraged. We are currently seeking a Project Manager with extensive experience in Residential Projects (Wood Construction) and a minimum of 8 years of work experience in an architectural firm.

Key Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge and application of AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong understanding of the Ontario Building Code, Municipal/Regional By-Laws, and industry regulations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of residential construction techniques using wood structure, ideally townhouses
  • Familiarity with institutional, commercial, and mid-rise construction techniques using steel and concrete.
  • Solid grasp of Engineering Standards, construction technology, and building science.
  • Proven ability to produce concept, design, permit, and construction drawings, with a strong understanding of construction systems and architectural styles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Licensed or Registered under BCIN, OACETT, or OAA is an asset.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects of various scales and complexity, from inception through completion.
  • Oversee the preparation and issuance of project deliverables (Design, SPA, Permit, Tender, Construction) within established timelines.
  • Coordinate and lead internal team members and external consultants across all project phases.
  • Ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations, working closely with clients on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance, review drawings, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Supervise junior staff and assist with their professional development by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate multiple tasks simultaneously.
