Job Description

We are actively seeking an experienced Architect or an Architectural Technologist to join our team for large-scale renovation projects with a strong social impact. This role is focused on contract documents and requires strong working drawing experience and excellent Revit skills.

Our research-based, client-focused process allows us to tell the unique story of each place and its people, ensuring every project is thoughtfully crafted and well-executed.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Project Manager and Partner in Charge to produce high-quality contract documents. You will contribute to the technical execution of projects, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with relevant building codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate detailed contract drawings and specifications using Revit
  • Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and clients to ensure design intent is fully realized in the construction documents
  • Apply knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance
  • Manage and review work within the team, ensuring consistency and accuracy in documentation
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members
  • Work in a collaborative, research-driven environment to deliver socially impactful architecture

What We’re Looking For

  • Architect (OAA-licensed or in progress) or experienced Architectural Technologist
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a strong focus on contract documents and working drawings
  • Expertise in Revit is required (proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software is an asset)
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and detailing
  • Experience working on large-scale renovation projects is an asset
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
