Airport Planner/Architect (Toronto)

Our client is a world leading international strategic aviation and airport planning consultancy with established offices in Australia, Canada, Europe and New Zealand. We are currently looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Airport Planner with a broad range of relevant analytical, planning and presentation skills to join our team. You will be based in Toronto and work in collaboration with our offices across the globe on a variety of airport projects. The successful applicant will contribute, innovate and continue to learn from some of most innovative airport planners in the world while working alongside leading airports and airlines.

You will be an enthusiastic, self‐motivated and an accountable team member while also being able to work independently, and willing to take on responsibilities within a multi‐disciplinary team environment across multiple time zones. You will need to be confident in verbal, written and visual internal and external communication, and have previous exposure to project management.

While we’re ideally looking for an experienced candidate knowledgable in planning of aviation projects, we’re also open to discussions with Architects experienced in academic campus planning or other large scale planning projects. Your collaborative personality will be key to your success in working alongside our consultants around the globe as well as our local and international clients. We’re looking for experience in client management through the planning process with attention to project details, deadlines and deliverables as well as some experience in business development.

The right candidate is a highly creative individual who has a graphic approach to the preparation of reports and studies and an ability to work independently. With 10 years of progressive experience you will be leading a small and growing office wth the support of your counterparts in our international locations. This is an exciting growth opportunity to manage a large local project as well as contribute to a number of international projects. Travel is required for this role.
